ACTING TIPS, FOR YOUR CAREER IN BOLLYWOOD -54
(Through this I wish to share my insights as an actor/trainer with my students and other acting aspirants)
“HANDLING AUDITIONERS AND DIRECTORS WHO ACT OUT THE SCENE FOR YOU”
This is a very common problem faced by young aspirants who are new in the feild. Let go these younsters, even seasoned and senior actors are not spared by the whims and dictates of these “creative guys.”
Recently I was auditioning for a huge international project, even after 24 years of experience as an actor, the auditioner specifically acted out the scene for me, isn’t it frustrating.
It is of vital importance for a director or auditioner to know and understand “how to handle actors.” We at Indias Best Acting Academy “KREATING CHARAKTERS” we groom actors, won’t mind taking special sessions for directors on “how to handle actors” any takers please contact.
I am not able to figure the reason why some of these directors/auditioners tend to act out scenes for the actors, wether it is their “involvement with the script” or “deep dormant desire to act”….but as a result they make ‘Zombies’ out of young sensitive, vulnerable actors.
Rather they should feed the actors with appropriate reasons why those expressions are surfacing.
“GIVE ACTORS SPECIFIC INNER MOTIVE FORCES”
You as actors should put your foot down, and ask what exactly the “character is feeling” or what is the “motivating factor”.
We at India’s Top Acting School “KREATING CHARAKTERS” we groom actors, make actor aware of his right.
